Jills Cabana Guest Information
The accommodation (500 sq. ft) consists of an open plan area, with the queen size bed, TV sitting area, and kitchen in this main room. There is a partitioned off ‘nook’, where there are built in bunk beds. There is a full indoor bathroom, as well as an outdoor shower and washing sink located on the back deck. For those who can’t wait in line, or who wish to contribute to water conservation, or who are feeling particularly ‘outdoorsy’ , there is a quaint and tidy outhouse on the little hill behind the cabin, under the maple trees!
The cottage has a deck with BBQ , eating area, campfire pit, large yard and private driveway.
The kitchen is well-equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, blender, all utensils, cookware and dishes. Basic staples such as dish soap, salt & pepper, sugar, etc. are supplied.
A family of four can sleep comfortably (1 Queen & 2 Bunks with bed linens supplied). Though a modest sized cottage, it is well laid out and a very functional space. We may accommodate additional guests if needed by, using the extra foamie on the floor, pitching a tent in the lawn space, or sleeping under the stars on the deck! (With that said, there is a limit for the number of people permitted in my little cottage, so please talk to me about the number of guests you have in mind! )
Bath linens are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and additional bedding if needed. There are some beach blankets and picnic table cloths provided.
For indoor entertainment, and in the unfortunate event that you are faced with any rainy days, there is Cable,/ VCR/ DVD, a selection of family movies, and stereo/CD player/ Ipod/laptop hook-up and a few puzzles, books and games!.
Several walking and mountain biking trails are accessible directly from the property – easy for you to get out and enjoy the island!
The facilities at the ferry landing, Thatch Pub & Restaurant, Liquor Store and Laundromat are either a five minute walk or two minute drive away — as is, of course, the closest beach!
This is a smoke free cottage, but smoking IS permitted out on the deck ( please use the ashtray and be extra careful in the summer months in regards to smoking and using the firepit). No campfires are permitted if it there is a ban posted for the island, and also if it is a windy night, please don’t proceed with a fire.

Please be considerate of your neighbours by keeping noise down to a common sense level, and I hope they will do the same for you!!
